Kini, Institut Jiu-Jitsu Indonesia telah menjadi anggota ke-12 World Council of Jiu-Jitsu

Ishikawa then passed on his knowledge to Raden Sutopo (Ponorogo) which was then passed on to his five students namely Firman Sitompul, Sitompul, Heru Nurcahyo, Bambang S and Heru Winoto. These five students became the embryo of Jujitsu's growth and development in Indonesia

Before the "Jiu-Jitsu Indonesia Institute (IJI)" was formed, Jiujitsu was known as the "Bantaran Angin" martial arts center based in Ponorogo. To develop Jiu-jitsu throughout Indonesia, finally

the Jiu-jitsu development center was moved to Jakarta. This is where an official and legal entity organization called the Indonesian Jiu-Jitsu Institute (IJI) was formed, around December 8, 1981.

In the same year, a Jiu-Jitsu martial arts demonstration was held at the Jakarta Police College. Finally Jiu-jitsu managed to get an award and recognition from the staff of the Japanese embassy. Today, the Indonesian Jiu-Jitsu Institute has become the 12th member of the World Council of Jiu-Jitsu

London-based organization that makes Jiu-Jitsu the official Martial Police and various military units such as KOPASSUS, KOSTRAD, PASPAMPRES, Marines and others. Even Jiu-Jitsu is also developed in schools, private institutions as well as government agencies and universities
